8 Weeks 1 Day

Time seems to be going so fast already. We have so many exciting things coming up, I feel that I will be in my 3rd trimester before I know it. For now, I am looking forward to our ultrasound on Tuesday. Since we are still considered high risk, we are going in every 2 weeks. I cannot wait to see their progress and hoping to hear the heartbeat (last ultrasound we were only able to see a little flicker since we were only 6weeks 6 days)

I have had morning sickness (or should I say All Day Sickness) every day this week, sleep is becoming more difficult between the frequent trips to the bathroom and not being able to get comfortable, and going from content to hungry in the matter of seconds.  BUT.... I am not complaining (just wanting to document what symptoms I am experiencing). I will give you guys an update after our ultrasound on Tuesday.

20 Little Fingers and 20 Little Toes

We are having TWINS!

We went in for an ultrasound yesterday. I was so anxious from the moment I woke up. I just kept praying for the baby to be perfect! The doctor quickly was able to find the heart beat from Baby A. He/She is measuring right on track. Towards the end of the ultrasound I told the doctor, "I am shocked to hear there was only one ". My BETA was indicating that it was a multiple pregnancy. One of the girls at the lab joked that it could even be triplets. He looked around more and found a little flicker, Baby B, at the top of my uterus. He/She implanted so high it was hard to get a good view but we were able to see he/she too is measuring right on track and we seen the heartbeat.

I cannot tell you how blessed I feel. I cannot stop thanking God for these two little blessings. All of the tears I have cried and heartache is not a care at this point but makes the next journey of our lives even more special.... As always, please keep us in your prayers.

5 Week Update

We are 5 weeks pregnant today and everything is going perfectly! We went in yesterday for blood work and my levels are more than doubling every 48 hours. I have already started experiencing nausea throughout the day and my boobs are extremely sore. Since symptoms have started so early, I am convinced that both embryos attached and are going strong :)

We are scheduled for an ultrasound on September 18th. I can not wait! Since we conceived through IVF we are considered high risk and they #1 want to make sure everything is progressing as expected and #2 to see how many are in there. This will be such a big day!
